Valdez New Boat Harbor

The City of Valdez has long and deep links to Prince William Sound. Their waterfront and harbor facilities are critical to their economy and well-being. We assisted them with developing a new boat harbor to the southeast of the existing small boat harbor. Our work included pedestrian facilities, interpretive signage, decorative fencing, decorative picnic shelters, and overlooks, and plaza spaces throughout this new timber boardwalk which will run the length of the boat harbor. Custom salmon bike racks were provided, and brass salmon inlays were included within the concrete of one of the plaza areas.
