Parks and Trails

  • Cope Park

    Corvus Design led a public process ending in the re-design and construction of this park to improve safety and update facilities.

  • Pullen Creek Streamwalk

    Stream restoration was designed to stabilize banks, reduce velocity, and create improved habitat opportunities within the creek.

  • Russian Jack Springs Park

    Corvus provided public outreach and planning services to the Anchorage Park Foundation for a desired renovation of a derelict area of Russian Jack Springs Park.

  • Sitka Sea Walk

    Corvus provided master planning, environmental services, and landscape design for the development of a pedestrian Sea Walk along Sitka’s waterfront.

  • Wrangell Mariners Memorial

    Design and construction documentation of a Mariner's Memorial on the shore of Heritage Harbor in Wrangell.

  • Yakutat Community Inclusive Playground

    Corvus Design worked with the community to design an inclusive playground for all age groups.


  • Airport Heights Elementary School

    Major school renovation including new playgrounds, edible landscaping, and outdoor classroom areas.

  • Gustavus School

    Corvus Design provided programming and master planning for school ground improvements for this rural school.

  • Harborview School

    Corvus Design provided design and construction administration services for the now completed Harborview Elementary School renovations.

  • Iditarod Elementary

    Corvus Design developed a site plan including safety measures, new playgrounds, and landscape to meet the Mat-Su ordinance.

  • Mountain View Elementary

    Corvus Design provided designs for a new, accessible playground area, rain gardens, and a front entry with seating and decorative walls.

  • Pacific High School

    Corvus Design developed a landscape which utilizes elements that reflect and enhance the cultural and educational curriculum of the school.

  • UAA School of Engineering

    We provided design for plaza areas, sustainable design components, and innovative design elements that align with the Engineering Department’s curriculum.



  • Aptel Hotel

    Corvus Design provided permitting and landscape design services for the Aptel Hotel in Anchorage.

  • Home 2 Suites Hotel

    We worked with Hilton on the development of a Home 2 Suites hotel within Midtown. We provided bid document and permitting assistance.

  • My Place Hotel

    Corvus Design provided permitting and landscape design services for My Place Hotel in Anchorage.

  • Tsaina Lodge

    Corvus Design worked with the private lodge owners of Tsaina Lodge to develop a master plan that addresses their new lodge building near the top of Thompass Pass.

Health Facilities

  • Centennial Village Wellness Upgrades

    Corvus Design provided planning and design services for site amenity upgrades to better outdoor recreation opportunities for residents.

  • Dena’ina Wellness Center

    Corvus Design provided site and landscape design services for the development of a new health and wellness center for the Kenaitze Indian Tribe.

  • Hoonah SEARHC Clinic

    Corvus Design provided landscape architectural and environmental permitting services for the development of a new SEARHC clinic in Hoonah.

  • Nuka Wellness and Learning Center

    Several gathering areas were designed for formal and informal use and different size groups, including the roof deck garden and fire pit plaza.

Waterfront Planning

  • Institute Master Plan

    The master plan developed by Corvus Design integrates an educational campus, senior assisted living, retail and commercial, and a range of housing options.

  • Juneau Cruise Ship Terminal

    Corvus Design provided master planning, public involvement, permitting, and the development of construction documents for this multi-phased project.

  • Juneau Harbors Master Plan

    Corvus Design is leading a team of designers, engineers, and economists to plan and design the uplands surrounding Juneau's downtown harbors.

  • Statter Harbor Improvements

    The master plan effort reconfigured and expanded existing harbor and upland facilities to alleviate congestion and improve safety and efficiency.

  • Valdez Small Boat Harbor

    Corvus Design has developed plans including pedestrian facilities, interpretive signage, and picnic shelters and overlooks throughout the new harbor.

  • Wrangell Waterfront Master Plan

    Corvus Design provided public involvement and master planning to create a waterfront master plan to expand existing facilities and provide new opportunities.

Master Planning

  • Juneau Historic Preservation Plan

    Corvus Design led a team to undertake updating the Juneau Historic Preservation Plan.

  • Kenaitze-Salamantof Housing

    Corvus Design worked with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe on the creation of a housing development, including senior housing for their tribal members.

  • Mendenhall Glacier Master Planning

    Corvus Design is leading the planning, public involvement, and NEPA effort, while managing over a dozen specialist subconsultants

  • N. Douglas Planned Unit Development

    Corvus Design led the master planning and permitting for a twelve unit housing development that was designed and permitted as a Planned Unit Development.

  • UAF Campus Wide Core Plan

    Corvus Design evaluated how vehicles and pedestrians are currently accessing the Campus Core and propose alternative design solutions for problem areas.

  • UAA Master Plan Update

    Corvus is providing outreach and planning services for an update to the UAA Campus Master Plan.

Public Facilities

  • Loussac Library

    Corvus Design is providing outreach assistance, master planning and design services for the redevelopment of the Loussac Library in Anchorage.

  • Mendenhall Valley Public Library

    The landscape plays up the area's geological features and includes glacial eskers and boulders fields and is enveloped by a rich native landscape.

  • Seward Public Library and Museum

    Corvus provided design services to the City of Seward for their new combined museum and public library building.

  • State Library Archives and Museum

    As a key focal point, this plaza will provide a welcoming entry to this facility and act as a valuable public space for the community.

Development and Ordinance

  • CIRI Headquarters

    Cook Inlet Region Incorporated developed a new 8-story Class A office building on a prime location on the New Seward Highway at Fireweed Lane.

  • Covenant House

    Corvus provided site and landscape design services for the construction of a new housing facility for homeless teens.

  • Douglas Island Building Renovations

    This remodel included the reconfiguration of pedestrian circulation, drainage, and working with numerous utilities while creating a pleasant public facility.

  • Petco - Wasilla

    Corvus Design provided a landscape plan that included plantings for screening, fencing, boulders, and flowering perennials that were all a part of landscape requirements.

  • South Restaurant

    Corvus Design provided site planning and landscape design services for South Restaurant and the adjacent mall.

  • STG Headquarters

    Corvus Design worked with STG Inc. on the design of their Anchorage headquarters.


  • Eklutna Estates Senior Housing

    Corvus Design provided planning and design services for this senior housing building located within Cook Inlet Housing Authority’s Centennial Village campus.

  • Haines Assisted Living Campus

    Corvus Design created a campus-atmosphere at this senior housing development.

  • Mountain View Duplexes

    As part of a term contract with Cook Inlet Housing Authority, Corvus is providing residential scale design services for the development of three duplexes in the Mountain View neighborhood.

  • UAA Housing Winter Village

    Corvus Design was contracted to provide conceptual development of strategies to improve the housing area to provide more of a Winter Village aesthetic.

  • UAA MAC Housing

    The MAC Housing development at the University of Alaska Anchorage Campus provides a significant number of housing units to students.


  • Cheney Lake Interpretive Signage

    Corvus developed an interpretive panel focusing on the waterfowl that use Cheney Lake Park.

  • Wings of Alaska Interpretive Panels

    Four interpretive panels that highlight the airways historic fleet of DeHavilland aircraft, the historic lodge, and surrounding glacier landscape

  • KMTA Signage

    In trying to educate tourists and Alaskan residents about this history and all of the wonders of this area, Corvus Design provided KMTA interpretive signage.

  • Moore Bridge

    Corvus Design provided interpretive services for the design, layout, and content for the six interpretive panels for the wayside.

  • Northwood Park Signage

    Corvus provided interpretive design services for the development of extensive signage for this park.

  • Pullen Creek Interpretive Signs

    Corvus Design developed a sign plan for interpretation and wayfinding, the designs for twenty-nine signs, and procured them.

  • Sitka Sound Science Center Signage

    Corvus is providing environmental and interpretive design services for the Science Center and salmon hatchery

Recreation Planning

  • Capital Park

    Corvus is leading a public process to determine needs and programming to create a public park that is ‘inclusive’ rather than ‘exclusive’.

  • Herman Leirer Multi-modal Trail

    Corvus provided conceptual design and value analysis services for a proposed multi-modal trail that will parallel the road within this corridor.

  • Lyn Ary Park Master Plan

    Corvus Design provided public outreach, planning, and design services for the completion of this Master Plan.

  • Skagway Rec Center Master Plan

    Master Planning services for this center included assessing existing outdoor facilities and making recommendations for improvements.

  • UAF Trails and Greenway Plan

    Development of a Master Plan to guide the expansion/development of the main campus trail and connection network.


  • Binkley Street

    Roundabouts, gateway features, and landscaping enhancements for vehicular and pedestrian improvements, create a more complete street for Soldotna.

  • Cruise Ship Terminal

    Corvus Design master planned the existing Cruise Ship Terminal Uplands to improve tour bus staging, pedestrian circulation, create open space and vendor areas, and improve public parking.

  • Johns and Klatt Roads Roundabout

    This roundabout, located in the Ocean View area, reflects the local identity while keeping maintenance at a minimum.

  • Juneau Transportation Center

    This project includes a parking garage, transit center, pedestrian plazas, new streetscape, and a community park.

  • Main Street Improvements

    Corvus Design provided master planning and streetscape design that includes public spaces at several state and city public buildings.

  • Margaret Ave.

    Corvus Design provided construction document services for the ADOT&PF’s Northern Region on the realignment of Margaret Avenue in Fairbanks, Alaska.

  • Sand Lake Gateway

    Corvus Design provided pro-bono services for the design and procurement of a gateway feature constructed at the intersection of Jewel Lake and Raspberry Roads.

  • Wrangell Front Street

    Design included on street parking and developing pedestrian spaces for site furnishings and landscaping.

Visual Simulation

  • Archipelago Property

    Corvus worked with an investment/development group who owns prime waterfront property in downtown Juneau.

  • Governor's House Fence and Garden

    Under term contract with ADOT & PF, Corvus is providing historic landscape renovation services for the Governor’s House in Juneau.

  • Katlian Bay Road

    Corvus Design provided scenery resources services to ensure the project meets Scenic Integrity Objectives.

  • Takatz Scenery Assessment

    Corvus is in the midst of inventorying, assessing and evaluating the impacts to scenery/aesthetics over a ten year period for this remote location.

  • UAS Corridor Design

    Corvus is updating the Juneau campus corridor master plan and developing construction documents for the creation of a central campus corridor.
