Corvus is updating the Juneau campus corridor master plan and developing construction documents for the creation of a central campus corridor. The current campus corridor is dominated by vehicular traffic and lacks a unifying pedestrian corridor along the spine of this waterfront campus. Work includes the relocation of a road running through the core of the campus and conversion of the central spine to a landscaped pedestrian corridor that unifies and strengthens the campus layout. The design of the corridor includes a pedestrian hardscape along its length, an amphitheater, landscaping along its perimeter, and pedestrian amenities creating an aesthetic update to the campus image while improving safety.
