Corvus Design provided master planning and streetscape design on Main Street that includes public spaces at the State Capitol, Alaska Office Building, State Office Building, State Courthouse, and City Museum. Work includes updating concrete sidewalks to a ceremonial pedestrian route to the Capitol and includes the use of concrete pavers, street trees, site furnishings, and individual granite pavers for each of the 270 communities of Alaska engraved on them. The streetscape was developed in partnership with the community’s historic and cultural committees, and links many of Juneau’s key government and public institutional facilities while upgrading the aesthetics to a public ceremonial space.
