Located in the Dimond Park campus, the new 20,000 square foot library serves as the gateway and focal point of the campus. The minimalist modern building design is anchored around a central 'view garden' and brings the natural landscape into the facility with its expansive windows opening onto the garden. The landscape plays up the area's geological features and includes glacial eskers and boulders fields and is enveloped by a rich native landscape. The entry of the building sits within a large covered plaza providing a formal procession to the library. The perimeter landscape includes a trail link, street trees to unify the campus and a simple foundation planting to integrate the clean building forms with the site.
