Russian Jack Springs Park is a 319 acre park in northeast Anchorage. The northern end of the park was identifed as being in rough shape, and in need of improvements that would benefit the surrounding community. Corvus provided public outreach and planning services to the Anchorage Park Foundation for a desired renovation of a derelict area of Russian Jack Springs Park. Intensive public process was followed with design and construction documentation for: a lit trail loop, parking lot constructed to Low Impact Development standards, and the provision of community use area centered around an iconic playground area. Construction is expected to be completed in 2013.
