Peterson Bay Field Station

The Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies (CACS) is an environmental education organization in Homer, Alaska, that delivers educational programs and guided tours to over 11,000 students and visitors every year. Corvus Design provided pro-bono services to CACS to develop a master plan for their Peterson Bay Field Station. The field station allows for groups of up to 30 children to have multi-day interaction directly with the natural sciences. Services included site investigation, site and architectural programming development, and the development of initial master planning materials. The intent of this phase of work was to create materials to inform potential supporters and donors and engage people within the planning of this unique facility.
